My son has been learning Violin from Maria since the last three years. He pretty much enjoys his lesson as Maria is very kind and patient. She motivates him and infuses a lot of self confidence in him. My son even cleared his violin preliminary exam AMEB with Honours and is now preparing for his grade 1 exam. My son has been learning guitar with Maria at Poco since kinder, nearly 10 years, and is still living and breathing his guitar! Maria has the special ability of being able to meet the kids at their level, wherever that may be, and inspire them on their musical journey.

Maria is amazing! My two girls love her and and really enjoy their lessons with her. They now have a band with a few other kids that Maria runs regular sessions for and their loving music .... even had couple of successful performances. Highly recommended music school!
My boys have been having guitar and drum lessons at Poco Music. They love their lessons. I have also been working for Poco Music for a number of years and really love my job. They have provided wonderful support and training along the way and the focus has always been on providing engaging, professional and enjoyable lessons for the students. They strive to provide extra opportunities a part from syllabus lessons such as performances, recording, songwriting, theory, band groups and using digital software for creating music. Music lessons with Poco music are going very well. Our teacher this Term Finn has been amazing. He has adjusted teaching style to suit my son and has been in frequent communication with me. He has gone above and beyond!
Maria and her team are a group of people that are incredibly talented, passionate and encouraging. Within the few short weeks I have known Maria for, she has been completely accommodating with giving me not only guitar lessons, but theory work and recording sessions! Maria has helped my musical dreams become a reality as she’s been assisting me with writing and composing my own music. I only picked up the guitar for the very first time a few weeks ago and I feel as though Maria has helped me improve tremendously. I can’t thank her enough- I’m very excited to continue lessons with her and the team and would definitely recommend them to anyone else that is passionate about writing music or playing any musical instrument, no matter your age or past experience!
